Narrow Neck House
Inner city home for a young family. Gable forms reflect sites seaside neighbourhood location. Rational architectural response is based on a typology of two boat sheds compositionally offset in plan to allow increased sun light and outdoor living space in the ecologically planted garden.
Interior volume is clad in durable, natural, hand crafted materials. Spatial experience is three dimensional with generous void allowing for vertical interaction between spaces and natural ventilation.
